Empower International 2009 : Three Day Seminar

What has shaken the institution of marriage and family in modern societies?
What can be done about it?
Come and discover how our materialistic culture puts strain on families and draws us away from the wisdom of scripture.

Carrie Miles holds a doctorate in social and organizational psychology from the University of Chicago. She is the author of The Redemption of Love and various Bible Studies which have been translated and used in her ministry work in Africa. Carrie is the president of Empower International Ministries, a senior research fellow at the Center for the Economic Study of Religion at George Mason University in Virginia and a non-resident fellow at the Institute for the Studies of Religion at Baylor University, Texas. She is married to economist Laurence Iannaccone and they have two children.

Purpose of Seminars :
" Help participants discover God's ideal for marriage and family life.
" Provide the opportunity for participants to discuss with other leaders how to apply this ideal to challenges facing marriage and family today.
" Empower participants to teach the biblical ideal themselves.
" Raise the position of men, women and children and marriage itself to Christian standards.

Materials: Each participant will receive a Bible Study Guide.

Cost : Three Day Seminar : R250 Two Day Seminar : R100
